Opening of RTAI Offices
Vincent Higgins, Chairperson and I attended the opening of the RTAI new offices at 36 Parnell Square on Feb.11th. The gathering of the INTO executive and members of RTAI was addressed by Jim Higgins INTO President who said that the ocaid was “stairuil, tabhacht agus pleasurable”. The INTO looks after teachers from graduation to retirement and RTAI look after teachers from retirement to eternal bliss.
Declan Kelleher former INTO President informed the gathering that he was seeking the support of graduates for the NUI Panel in the forth coming Seanad Elections. INTO and RTAI have endorsed his candidacy. He will be the voice of public servants whether you are retired or an active serving public servant.
