RTA Galway welcomes Joe Kileen, President of INTO back to Galway for the INTO Easter Congress at the Galmont Hotel (formerly the Radison Hotel) from the 22nd-24th April.
Joe taught in Lough Cutra and was secretary of the Gort Branch before joining the CEC in 2008. Joe had a very successful year as President. The high points of his year were meeting Michael D. Higgins (who was originally from County Clare and now living in Galway) as part of INTO 150 year celebrations. He worked closely with colleagues in Northern Ireland and the European Parliament to raise concerns of colleagues both in Northern Ireland and in border counties.
Táimid i nGaillimh an bhródúil as an sár obair a rinne Joe ar son bun mhúinteóirí na tíre. Guímid rath ar an gComhdháil i nGaillimh.
