| Santa keeping a tight grip on President Phil |
Members of the Bridge Club and the Musical Group were in real party mood when they got together for their joint Christmas Party. Members of the Bridge Club lead by their President Phil Moran transformed a room at the Education Centre with gold, green and red decorations, candles, crackers and a bobbing Santa Claus for the occasion.
Santa arrived with a sack full of presents – one ‘for everyone in the audience.’ There was fun, laughter and jokes go leor.
The musical group under the direction of Mary Tansey added to the enjoyment of the evening with their rousing renditions of popular Scottish songs, Christmas carols and songs with solos from John Mc Gagh and Ann Mc Loughlin.

Bernard Kirk and staff of the Education Centre with distinguished guests from the Kenyan Embassy were delighted to be part of the enthralling entertainment. They joined over 50 members for a delicious lunch followed by traditional plum pudding, mince pies, tea coffee and wine - a real feast.
The Musical Group like the Bridge Club has gone from strength to strength since their formation over three years ago. Both clubs have enhanced the well-being, happiness and quality of life of our members giving rise to positive feelings, memories and emotions.
