Members of the R.T.A. who took lessons in 2010 with Carmel Murphy formed a Bridge 
Club in September 2011. Mary Howley was elected President of the Club. Mary organized the first outing of the club in December at the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, Clifden – set in the heart of Connemara, on the coast, yet completely sheltered in its own twelve acres of parkland and gardens. We were accorded a warm welcome, willing and unobtrusive service which led to a truly memorable celebration.

e was celebrating her birthday and decided to take on John Flatley in a game of table tenis, Kathleen Campbell contributed to the customary sing song after dinner in the lounge and other members danced well into the early hours
of the morning. There was no one complaining of their arthritic pains!! Oh yes we did play a few hands of Bridge!!
Classes are continuing with Carmel and the Club welcomes new members.
